You reach into your heart
taking me to those places
you had buried so deep
inside
that you had forgotten
they ever existed...
Together we walk
hand in hand
along the edges
of your dreams...
Your eyes show
the soul of a spirit
that could not remember
how to fly,
and all I could do
was take your hand
and through tears of love
whisper amidst the sounds
of silence....

I am here~

I could feel the flicker
of your flame
reaching,
reaching for the sky
that it might again
burn with the passion
for life that it once held...
as tears fell....
falling from eyes of blue
as you took me
to your hidden heart places,
and I...
I with all my love for you
could only whisper...

I am here~

Theres a man in his own prison,
with a crime that nobody knows
he has sentenced himself to die
with no chance of pardon or parole..
he's lonely....(as sung by Tracy Lawrence..)
