The Jokes On Me Perhaps I shall end These poems of mine Place myself away I think it is time Tear up the pages Vanish without trace Leaving me blank I have no place Heart notebooks Paper shreds easily Hoping time heals Aches within me Cast into silence Unworthy and low I will empty tears In depths below Emotions liquify Tears form a pool Myself to blame For being a fool Read heart text Each simple plea All my devotion You fail to see Ending the hope I leave no excuse The jokes on me Whats the use Hope © 2002 |

If only it were as simple as tearing up the pages...enjoyed very much, Hope. |

Hello Hope ... its been awhile and I pray such words of you never shred. Though acknowledging the pain is good, it is wrong to feel the blame. The pages of you read so much more ... they are filled with understanding. Blessings always. |

well now, here I am trying to assure HOPE that there's always tomorrow. grinning, (forgive me, I've got this thing for irony) I could relate to this, and yes, I do HOPE to be reading more from you! |
