My breeze had stolen journey thought lashing forward I suppose I was thirsty A guitar riff introduced me to a stranger mood one that I could hear beneath the palms of beating seduction When my quiet moments of restless met with the notion of something hot something so far from my mind yet so damn close I sat in sunlight melting from the very thoughts you gave me slowly like some blues tune intoxication like some salsa snake charming me into the bite of your touch You thought my spin was slight I’m no dizzy woman of new love I just really like being inside the body of extraordinary and celebrate that old feeling that deja vu of knowing you wanting to drink your ingredients wanting to wear your love as the scent of your devotion In this lava day turning hotter our villa undone and lazing in wide open let your ocean come and tear my mountain down [This message has been edited by rwood (04-22-2002 05:59 PM).] |

WOW!!! Ooohhhhhh...your poems certainly dance tango in this gorgeous poem, sweet friend, I heard salsa music and Latin rock reading this! (kiss on cheek) May love always wear you with devotion and promise, sweet friend, this is breathtaking, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Regina, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

When my quiet moments of restless met with the notion of something hot something so far from my mind yet so damn close Oh Regina - your words are awesome! Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

When my quiet moments of restless met with the notion of something hot something so far from my mind yet so damn close I sat in sunlight melting from the very thoughts you gave me slowly like some blues tune intoxication like some salsa snake charming me into the bite of your touch You thought my spin was slight I'm no dizzy woman of new love I just really like being inside the body of extraordinary and celebrate that old feeling that deja vu of knowing you wanting to drink your ingredients wanting to wear your love as the scent of your devotion ====================================== A salsa snake? How cool is that?????????? Girlie...this is one very very cool write... like a hot summers breeze on damp skin... mmm mmm mmm ... love the passion and need in this... the fire that is buring the edges of your lines. So good to have you back...hows the remodeling coming? Does Martha Stewart write salsa poetry? me thinks not lol |
