-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Silver Sprays Galore (Word List Challenge ) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This was a challenge from another board using words afar..emit..jingle...plum..saffron...tablet..meander ..rapid..galore..carpet, we had to use 8 out of the 10 words .... here was my poem below .... Silver Sprays galore The season was fall Leaves carpet the floor We meander the path That leads to the shore Rested along the way By the old plum tree Rapid flows the stream Winding toward the sea A sunset descending The colour of saffron Last glow of goodbye Day soon shall be gone Harbourside sounds Chains and bells jingle Waves lash the shore The sea breezes tingle Beside the lighthouse Gazing over the shore Stars shone from afar In silver sprays galore Hope ©2002 |
