Night falls upon a land of green as life’s blood flows in crimson sheen Warring lords boast of battles won in cool of night and heat of sun Crash of grey waves do tell the tale of woe in battle ‘pon the swale Silent ebb of tide mourns the dead as thousands cry in fearful dread Maiden's tears fall from eyes of mourn as children’s lives are once gain torn by death and slaughter of those loved from wield of bludgeon leather gloved Fires of pyres glowing embers hot remnants of fiercest battles fought Ash of souls carry in the wind as hearts and lives do slowly mend Into the way of harm will ride from battle will not shirk or hide The knights and knaves of most brave souls shall ride and fight till last bell tolls. Magnus darling boy this is of course utterly utterly excellent. YES it is, and don’t argue you have such an amazing ability to write of the heart and soul. It’s as if you can actually etch into the heart of the reader. Utterly utterly perfect writing. It is an absolutely beautiful example of your incredible skill. I love it utterly Wonderful writing and so beautifully penned from a poetic angels pen dipped in poets thought ink.
