I have not heard from you in quite some time. If I called you, would I be out of line? I don't know why you drifted away. But if I saw you, what would I say? You're still on my mind and in my heart. But time has passed and we grew apart. I felt abandoned long ago. Where are you, and why did you go? I wrote a letter I never sent, Telling you how much, to me, you meant. I still have not forgotten you yet. And though you're gone, I have no regrets. Your heart was wild and hard to tame. But since you've been gone, things aren't the same. I need a soft place to land as our paths collide. It's hard to find the words of how I feel inside. This wasn't where we wanted to be. But you'll always be a part of me. In the dim misty moonlight, Thoughts are floating through the night. I send this wish from here to the nearest star. Bring happiness to you wherever you are. So with these thoughts of you and a wistful sigh, In the gentle wind I whisper good-bye. |

Goodbyes are especially difficult when the one you're speaking to isn't there to hear you....at least I think so sometimes. Nice write. I hope things work out well for you and for your friend, wherever they are.  ~sky I'm in charge, and I say question authority! |

Reminds me of situations when I didn't send a letter or contact someone because I didn't feel like I wanted to do all the work and I didn't think it would really matter to them anyway...James |
