The sky is cold down this neck Of my vulnerable bewitching woman Damp has touched the fine wood of this place And warped the time around my building fair I open the cloth like silk on silk Drawn on canvas to persuade the eyes of you To look beneath the years of skin to within Where candles are lit around my need for you This painting is of color real I fear the way the weeping wind takes this tear Like faith lost and weary of traveling Takes it from me before you can see The fine fall of it into my palm opening free As my wealth of tender hair entraps my face I see you through me like some dark rain Unfocused and unsure of place within this art That I would color into us |

Martie...I just dropped from line to line, trying to find the best one...but got wrapped up in the color of silk, and finding rainbows at the end of this magnificently sensual piece... |

I fear the way the weeping wind takes this tear Like faith lost and weary of traveling Takes it from me before you can see The fine fall of it into my palm opening free As my wealth of tender hair entraps my face I see you through me like some dark rain Unfocused and unsure of place within this art That I would color into us ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Martie, this touched the core of my soul! How do you do this? *magic?* Wow! Enjoyed so much! ~Hugs~ |

The feel is both warm and chillig. Your poetry takes flight and soars, like an endless carpet ride borng full speed ahead. This was a fascinating read Martie. |

Wow! Do I ever love how you laid out the meaning in this one. It seems so desperate but definitely smacks of frustrated acceptance........good work!! |

Martie, The candles lit burn with the heat of sensual yearning... A flame which fuels the fires within... Love your fabulous use of images... |
