Fading from a former self I shelf my past to gather dust And trust that it will always be A building block that led to me I may return to dusted shelves And selves that I have left behind My mind does tend so solemnly To look back on the many me But every time I visit who I knew my very self to be I see more things I’m doing wrong And make my shelf one more book long |

That's wildly wonderful! this is one that I want to keep on my library shelf and dust off and re-read again. |

Kevin~ But every time I visit who I knew my very self to be I see more things I’m doing wrong And make my shelf one more book long' Profoundly said~ If each day we write a new chapter of wrong ... it's time for a re-write~ Goodness knows I'm working on my second shelf~ Love you~ *HUGS* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
