Winnie The Pooh And Joshua Too Just as Springtime brings forth the new, We are here to welcome you too. The Luckiest Child Joshua David Knoppel April 5, 2002 This child will be loved from morning 'til night. Will be rocked in loves' arms, removing all fright. Coaxed and encouraged to develop a mind And a heart full of wonder, to love and be kind. From birth to year one, the delight in the face Of a child's innocence and of finding his place. Talking and walking one step at a time The best of the best to those precious of thine. Then come preschool years ... and he'll grow very smart As he does dearest acts that will then, warm your heart. And before, not too long ... the first day of school. From that moment on ... his life becomes full. You must then share Joshua, who came from you two, With the rest of the world ... to then grow and pursue Stacey and Chris, with memories, proud of Events from birth on, of this child, born from love. M created for a cousins' first baby "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." *Larry you surprise me! I would have never taken you for a Winnie-the-Pooh man...but then again, you are married to a Nancy Lee* Maureen, this is lovely and how exciting the birth of a baby is, eh? The parents as well as Joshua will be able to tresure this forever. How very loving of you! Well done! ~Hugs~ |

Dulci, it took me much longer than I thought to get them designed, sawed, carved ( with some help), painted etc...I spent just yesterday alone on the baby and the miniature quilt...and taking a picture of it today to do it justice was even harder.. *s thanks |

Nancy, you know what's really neat is I was able to type in a code at Holy Cross Hospital.com and see the picture of the baby on here...only thing is it wouldn't let me copy it to put it with the poem on the wooden book in the background ...so I will have to wait to receive one to use. *s thank you hugss back M |

Oh shuckey darns, Maureen. Girl......you got me....you really got me, this time with this poem. Keeping this, and the picture. This whole thing, the sculptures, the painting of them, the idea of the poem for the Baby Joshua, the inscription on the booklet.....its soooooo you, and just reinforces what i've always said about you: the best parts of you are waiting to be discovered by others! And that's alll good.....the best, actually. do i act impressed? Hecccccck yes! that one line about the sharing Joshua with the rest of the world is simply delightful. YOU are delightful! ~biggggg smiles for you in admiration~ jeff |

Hi Jeff...they are wood carvings about the size of an index card each except for little roo and piglet they are somewhat smaller..I am waiting for a baby picture to add to the wooden book but I may have to let them place it there themselves. You are too kind..nothing to be impressed about, just doing what comes naturally when inspired or an idea is given to me. My 85 year old Aunt wanted a gift that would be one of a kind and I said I would write a poem, but asked what was the baby's room in..and she said Winnie the Pooh...so that was the beginning of this week long project *s thanks for coming by Jeff. |
