I Speak Of Dreams

I speak of dreaming hear the sound
Of moonbeams falling all around
Reveal the touch of softest light
Stroking face with dreamers sight

I speak of slumbers deep and still
Of dreams that give a certain thrill
In depths of night I hear your call
Pleading with me to yield my all

I speak of visions touching me
Of wonders that sway temptingly
They draw me further into this
Make me yearn for sleepers kiss

I speak of slipping into night
Or drifting into dreams twilight
Touch my hand melt into me
Mesh like this for eternity

Within the night my spirits soar
I cede to darkness just once more
Allow the dark to enter me
Then fill me with night’s ecstasy
