Grandma's Poetic Serenade ~*Marge Tindal*~   She is the pink within my ink my very favorite shade She is the rhyme of heart-songs Grandma's poetic serenade~ I sing soft lilting La-La-La's into her dainty ears She smiles her sweet contentment that moves me near to tears~ Forever will I be thankful she came to this heart of mine Joy-beyond-compare she is this little Delaney divine~ When she clasps my finger in her tiny little hand My heart beats with the rhythm of love so GRAND~ ~*~ *From a contented Grandmother to my little Delaney Makay Tindal God, how I love you~ March 12, 2002 ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
