I dream as you each moment, as the hands of time go on That the prayers I chanted in my sleep would make me more belong That in your eyes I’d see some truth of wisdom and of hope That through the joy of sharing hearts, I’d start to somehow cope I share with you a verse from deep, that’s found its way to pen Amazing how the time goes on, but thoughts come back again The years so quickly come on by, with changes not so great What will another twelve months bring? What holds the hand of fate? I feel as if surrounded by the people I call friend The smiles I see, each pleasant voice, my broken parts do mend Happy for the being of the company entwined Where the giving of the sharing leaves the broken bits behind |
