Attractive dawn arises Sexy night disguises Somewhere in the dreams I’ve lost A day of life’s surprises A child cannot refuse To grow up lest he lose All the many pairs he’ll wear Of someone else’s shoes I simply want to blend My oddness without end In seas of eccentricity Where I know that I’ll fit in White-collar blue collar Some unwritten code That I cannot wear tie-dyes And recite poetry in the road Goodnight queer suburb Take the trash out to the curb Where I’ll sit and think of these Most disturbing words |

"A child cannot refuse To grow up lest he lose All the many pairs he’ll wear Of someone else’s shoes" This stanza hit me like a ton of feathers. I read it and thought,"that means something" aaagh unfortunately for me, it's too late to really look into it. Good job |
