Cold night condensing Moisture from thin air Breathed by you And I as we shared Lip touched thoughts Nuzzled with neck nipped laughs Left morning’s petals dripping dew That in slanting rays of rising Reflected bare images Distorting the hush Of lip traced silence With a myopic vision Of what it means to be here “Love Me?” New light burning clouds low slung Soon dries slick leafed gardens That hands and senses found delightful But muse found encased in essence of image Imagined I managed control Waiting for the answer And spring beds to bloom. “You hear the thunder last night?” It echoed… |
