My Unipak Creature

my Unipak creature
a cat so feline
he couldn’t be sweeter
unless twere alive

he’s soft and he’s plush
all squishy and nice
and each time I hug him
it has to be twice

I know I’m too old
for a stuffed little cat
but he’s cuddly and round
in his poly-filled fat

another good reason
he’s so special to me
he came from my daughter
for my birthday glee

he’s a hard, cold pink nose
and whiskers all stiff
he’s the sweetest of presents
a right charming gift

a coat that’s orange striped
with paws and a tail
tipped in white fluffy cuddles
much sweeter than ale

his tummy’s all white
and the space ‘round his nose,
his eyes are sea blue
‘bout the candle-light glows

when I snuggle him to me
he buries his face
in the heart of my torso
my love-kindling place

he has not a name
not a real one you see
but he’s special, so special,
truly special to me

Love that line! Everyone/everthing should be so well snuggled.

Yep...definitely something to be said for snuggling, no matter what age one may be...
but you're right in this...loved it.
