Light above, of glowing shine tender mercies, hear my plea Wilt thee know, thy be mine tender mercies, hear my plea Can thy heart, feel of me fall to ground on bended knee Doth thy know, thee will be fall to ground on bended knee Light of love, of soft night swiftest love, my own delight Cans’t thee know of this knight swiftest love, my own delight ‘Pon the break of the morn harbor me within your soul Thy love of thee whence born harbor me within your soul Heart of hearts, eye of eyes tender mercies, hear my plea Soul of soul, trembling sighs tender mercies, hear my plea Words of soft, singing voice fall to ground on bended knee Song of hearts, lover’s choice fall to ground on bended knee Left to live, left to hold Lost to touch, felt once bold |
