In dark of night no angel's wing, Can pierce the veil of evil's bring, Within man's soul lays silent scream, No way to halt, to wake hell's dream. As mocked by shadows of the night, Feels deep the lance of sin's cruel bite, Shrouded chambers of haunting sorrow, Rent asunder by tempest's woe, With mournful heart and quivering limb, Into deep chasms black and grim, Man walks in paths of trackless stead, Into night's canyons of spiteful dread, 'Til darkness fades, then numbed to pain, Man waits once more for dark again. |

This piece so well written and powerful. The profound display of the alter ego...for man is an innocent creature, meant to be loved. Great! ThisDiamond |

BRAVO!!! Oh Tim, this is soooooo striking, sweet friend, I believe deep down all man is innocent and while it saddens me to see many men face the dark side of life that there is a beauty that is just longing to be seen underneath it all! (sigh) This is a powerful sonnet, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tim, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
