"Bad Moments" © 2002 Brian Eggertsen, All Rights Reserved Verse 1: Old man living from a dumpster, He calls "Home Sweet Home". Divorced once, he's lived the Last forty years alone. Besides whiskey and cigarettes, He has no friends at all. His family won't know off him, So they just watch him fall. He is begging for change all day, No break for a broke man. People shout: "Get a job, you slob". But no one understands. Chorus: It's so hard to live, lives bad moments. It's such a shame that their even there. Well it depends on which roads we take. But not all can walk the road that care. Verse 2: Mother and child in their wrecked car, Driving down to the pen. She is gonna meet her daddy, Whose not out 'til she's ten. Walk into the room with glass and phone, He's waiting anxiously. The second he sees her he's done, She touch the glass gently. They all cry the moment's too strong, One hour's all they get. As time's up he's begging for more, "love you's" the last he said. Chorus: It's so hard to live, lives bad moments. It's such a shame that their even there. Well it depends on which roads we take. But not all can walk the road that care. Bridge The folks making all that easy money, Are getting the hardworking people down. They say: "One hotdog" laugh, what's so funny SPOKEN: (Firm Man: "Can I see your CV" "Hotdog Guy"?)...... Do you know how ridicules that sounds!! 'Cause they don't care that... Chorus: It's so hard to live, lives bad moments. It's such a shame that their even there. Well it depends on which roads we take. But not all can walk the road that care. |
