Carousel Weavers

~*Marge Tindal*~

Carousel weavers of the night
Spun silk lays in sheerest delight
Sparkling threads across the lawn
Night's crochet to greet the dawn~

Round the mound of daffodil
'Neath lazy daisies on the hill
Laced o'er meadowing in adorn
Milling night-workers covered my morn~

Margie girl darling sister of my heart, oh my word this is just too too gorgeous, should writing ever be this perfect? Beautiful writing, absolutely beautiful Do you have to really write this well darling girl? Hmmm? Is it fair to be such a good writer when I can’t manage to soar on the wings of soul Hmmm? I forgive you because this is utterly utterly perfect.

Absolutely perfect but that is to be expected, an elegant and seamlessly flow of sunlight and star shadow, but what else can I expect from you, YOUR writing is inarguably one of the most stunning example of form style and content. Just like you Margie girl, your writing is exceptionally good. You do know I utterly love this don’t you? I thought you’d pick up my subtle nuances there, you have always been exceptionally perspicacious.

Love and warm stuff
As always

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire

A true poet can write about any subject, and you do this so gracefully sweet Marge.  This poem is so cool!!

Like a red brick,
in a white wall
somebodies brush
forgot to paint...
lonely....(as sung by Tracy Lawrence..)

I love this, Marge - It's absolutely wonderful - and the graphic is a great enhancement.

I like your night weaver better than mine... I woke up to a brandy new web wrapped about my orchid plant.. I evicted that little guy in short order...

Stay off my path!!!
Your web of grace
Feels downright icky
Across my face!
I hate to be
Destroyer of home -
Please do your weaving
Where I don't roam!

We will pause in our reflection of Marge's wonderful poem for suthern's mind to ramble. *G*

I do love this, Marge... very much. *S*

Beautifully done Marge! Brought back memories of early mornings with dew misted webs that used to grace my lawns too, and it was a sight to behold...the layout was superb!

'Sparkling threads across the lawn...' what a great description and image. And I love to see them dew spinkled as the sun hits them. Beautiful poem and great graphic.

I hate walking through them though! Yuky icky, sticky!   :-)  Love ya, Marti

Sounds like my wife, though the grass is carpeted floor, the flowers are bound to cloth, and the not so silken threads come off a spoon - she has been know to greet the dawn while working the threads she weaves though...

Neat write and idea, my friend.
