When you hurt me
When you make me cry
When you ignore me
When you make me want to die
God loves me, even when you don't.

When your cruel
When your cold
When you act like a fool
When you leave me with nothing to hold
God loves me, even when you don't.

When you don't care anymore
When you refuse to understand
When you make my heart hit the floor
When you won't lend a helping hand
God loves me, even when you don't.

And when you "won't" anymore
And when you walk away,
God always "will" and He will always stay.

Don't hold back the words you really mean.
