Soft as a Flower Soft as a flower to open its bloom Sweet as a rose to bestow its perfume Slow as a child to waken from sleep Mystic as stars of the evening will creep Gentle as seeds of the earth come alive Wet by the tenderest tears from the skies Everything changing with purpose and grace Going unnoticed by moments of haste God sets the hour for petals to bloom Man who determines what eyes will consume All of life’s treasures enticing the eye So soft and so silently tiptoeing by Elizabeth Santos April 10, 2002 [This message has been edited by Elizabeth Santos (04-12-2002 11:37 AM).] |
