My heart aches, For the hatred spread. I as a unicorn, With a glittering horn, From the crest of my forehead, Quite a superficial creature I would be. In fact there would only be one of me, My white fur silky and satin, My mane and tail beautiful pink, I would walk proudly, Amongst the people, holding my head high, Treating everyone as an equal. I would be the unicorn, Speaking with people nation wide, Spreading my wings, Flying through the skies. Listening to their troubles and sorrows, Helping them realize Racism and hatred, Is not a cure for better tomorrows. If only, I could be a unicorn, My beauty would allow them to see, A superficial creature, Yet they still could love me me. We do not chose, Who we are born to be, So all I ask, is accept one another, I believe color blind is the best way to be. © Copyright 2001 Kellie Cantrell |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh kellie, I too join your prayers and hope that somehow we can have the heart to accept one another all around and find a common bond to share of love! (sigh) You are a true unicorn of inspiration to us all, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kellie, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." Shakira [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (05-24-2002 10:09 AM).] |

Hatred is the ugliest of things, and the unicorn is quite lovely, I think. Fine poem. Nan |

The wonders of the innocence of a child, something I will probably miss, but now as I get older I will need to stray away from but hold the moments close in my heart! (¨`·.·´¨) (¨`·.·´¨) |
