Three years I have been coming here, to read your poetry. In all that time, through all those rhymes, there's one thing I still see. Poor Balladeer, it's now quite clear, is challenged constantly. He whines "Why is it everyone must always pick on me?" For ages it's been going on, it's turned his hair all gray. That swagger ( made the women fawn ) is now more of a sway. My friends, I ask you kindly, won't you listen to his plea? He crys "Why is it everyone must always pick on me? " His only pals, Lng Jhn and Toe, could not seem to care less. Poor " Deer " I fear, because of this, is now a complete mess. He's traded in his laugh-lines for those wrinkles that you see. He moans "Why is it everyone must always pick on me?" The "Rodney D." of Passions', he just can't get no respect. His woe is that his mind did go, now no-one would suspect, the "Balladeer" that you see here, could once write poetry. He weeps "Why is it everyone must always pick on me?" Again my friends, will you not lend, our poor old "Deer" some slack? Don't be the sort who would make sport of him and then attack. Though he may fall, now darn it all, let's show some sympathy! He blats "Why is it everyone must always pick on me?" So, there you have my story 'bout the man I most admire. ( I hope he's still got time to post one more 'fore he expires!) He says "Why is it everyone must always pick on me?" and now it's "Et Tu Doctor?" " About that we'll have to see!" |

To pick on the old Balladeer is really quite a sport The masters of this Long John and Toe, frolic and cavort And Kevin is a runner up, but going for the gold Won’t rest until he one ups deer, or so I have been told But deer he gets his own back, in pen and paper rhyme And then the boys just fire back, I think for the last time Until I see another rhyme upon my screen of blue And wonder to myself, “what will the ‘Deery do?” The ‘Deer he posts another, and the boys retort with glee It really makes amusement, for everyone to see And so I take my ringside seat with popcorn and a smoke And laugh here as the boys do have their digs and funny jokes If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

Wayout, As usual, you've hit the pointy metal object squarely on the head.Thanks. Doc Toe, Lol. I've been watching you guys go at it forever, thought it might be time to get my feet wet. Thanks. Doc Kethry, Say Ahhhh. At two in the morning I thought this was a good idea. Now I'm not so sure.Thanks. Doc SmartChick, I have a sneaking suspicion it might have something to do with the food chain. Hopefully, I won't have to eat my words. Thanks. Doc Tracey, Loved the reply, Thanks. Doc |
