Once upon an evening chilling, as I sat there slowly warming with a spirit that was willing, all my toes and nothing more Come to me a phone a ringing, of an angel in her singing singing words so enchanting, exciting at my bedroom door Tis a beauty comes a calling, in softness her words feeling taking heart a flutt’ring, falling.. flutt’ring, falling, nothing more But, alas I did so telling, of those words so sweet, compelling miss the ring of my phone belling, telling of the call before Twas the call from within memory, of a time from in a century when a string and can were saying, Watson, come, unlock the door For the call was taken to history, now a part of telephonic mystery and the phone rings incessantly, asking for the lost Lenore [This message has been edited by Magnus (05-18-2002 11:40 AM).] |

Ok, so Poe is sitting here with me, nodding his head, saying "Yes, by Jove, I think he's got it!" [Sorry, Mr. Shaw, for the borrowing of Pygmalion...] where was I...oh yes. Poe is nodding his head, knowing that if phones had been around, well...just to say, HE is saying, IWIHWT.... |

Magnus hi there again this is what I call writing, the rhythm the rhyme the internal flow are as smooth as water over glass. Absolutely exquisite writing, I wish I could write like this, however I know I never will so I won’t wish for what I know won’t occur. Very well done, I really do love your work Love and warm stuff As always Krissy And while thy willing soul transpiers |

WOW!!! Oh Barry, I just love the kind of selective borrowing you put into this, sweet friend, how you gave a classic a modern twist just like the movie O' Brother, Where Art Thou was a modernized version of Homer's The Odyssey! (big hugggssssss) You are growing so rapidly as a fine poet, sweet friedn, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |
