The city skies with lines across work upheavals, signs of the cross answer to my question in the skies question begins in the mind...so do lies moods apt, questions flow with winds wagged tails, feathers flared known to flights, when pilots dared answers cross oceans...does someone care? answer to each question in the mind the answer is the self in its find; minds take flight across named nations answer to guardians at way stations. written poems in the air why wait for paper sheet dispair write of the city which is me tell the world that life is free. Sy, this one is inspired by a play called the Education of a Poet...the message here is that we have all the answers in our minds |

written poems in the air why wait for paper sheet dispair write of the city which is me tell the world that life is free. I really enjoyed this, Martin, and I'm glad you told us what the message was, because otherwise, I would have been up all night trying to figure it out...I felt like I was so close to knowing and yet it kept evading me. I posted a poem that was not exactly easy to figure out either, a couple of days ago...it was called "Almost Remembered" and I noticed that I didn't get many replies on it. I think people are embarassed to say that they don't understand something...but it happens often in poetry because the writer understands perfectly what he/she means...but its not always obvious to the reader without clues. Thanks for sharing this with us. ~obscure thinking poet hugs Lyra |
