You don't bring me flowers anymore.........

I used to want the sunshine,
To pour from in your soul,
I used to believe in miracles,
And that you made me whole.

I always thought tommorow,
Would be brighter than today,
I made sure to keep my spirits up,
Even when I heard you say,

I'm sorry babe....with flowers in your hand.

I used to hold your presence,
Somewhere deep inside,
The happy times they kept me,
Somehow sane through time.

I always let your pity,
Wear down upon my soul,
Welcoming you home agian,
Although I knew you'de go,

When things got all to rough........and flowers could not erase.

I used to force upon myself,
All the pain you'de give,
Even though deep inside I knew,
That I couldnt live like this.

I always told you,
That time can not heal everything,
But you never did believe,
Just how bad you hurt me,

And now I'm gone.................and you don't bring me flowers anymore.

i don't like the way guys always think flowers are going to make up for the hurt they caused us! Im sorry sweetie and I hope you find happiness soon.

ah...so sad when love passes, but who is to know what the future holds in store for us...perhaps a love where there is never a need for flowers
