I understand the end of it
if not the beginning
& the knowledge
helps little to ease
the pain
I'd failed the balancing
act somewhere near the
center reaching out
for you when I knew
your arms were so
far away

For now, I must cling
to sanity like a woman
drowning because
In many ways, I am
Every day, I make
another careful step
& try not to look back
nor feel where you
once were,
I know the end of it

I know...

Sure you're not one of my personalities I don't know about?  lol
Truly a poem, a place that I, also know.

Thank you for the understanding...

Tier - very heartfelt write ... I have entertained these same feelings before. Well done. Chris

Yeh, we seem to know right before it ends. Really enjoyed this.

Sometimes its really hard to let go...
This beautiful poem reminded me of the time just before my first husband died...when my head knew that he was going to....but my heart wouldn't accept it.

Beautifully done, Tier

(big hugggssssss) Oh Tiersdin, this is so sadly heartfelt, sweet friend, never look back and let yourself feel sad, always keep the memories of happiness and look ahead and believe you will find much more joy in store for you! (kiss on cheek) My heart goes out to you, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tiersdin, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

why do we always know the end my friend??  perhaps that's a question better left unanswered??

as always, it's good to read your words. . .

I wish we knew endings before we began, now that would suit me just fine.  Nice one Tiersdin.

Let's spend less time worrying about when our life is going to end, and more on when it's going to start!
