This not knowing Lays over my eyes Like sheerest silk Caressing my face With softness of Fine smooth fibers Woven in intricate Patterns allowing Illusions of images But not defining the Detail of why If this were a lover’s veil It would with bedroom swish Uncover the intimate Hidden barely before To display in naked form The skin of understanding But Silk is stronger than steel For size and weight And this is not a touch Of gentle care though It lies lightly on me Waiting perhaps for a twist From your heart To tighten in garroting strangle Cutting off all hope Of breathing again Us |

Sunshine: Thank you for the comment. One does not know sometimes what lies inside until it is written. Smitten: You are far too kind...but thank you for reading and for taking time to comment. It is greatly appreciated. |

CPatHair~ 'If this were a lover’s veil It would with bedroom swish Uncover the intimate Hidden barely before To display in naked form The skin of understanding' I just loved these thoughts ... *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

But Silk is stronger than steel For size and weight And this is not a touch Of gentle care though It lies lightly on me Waiting perhaps for a twist From your heart To tighten in garroting strangle Cutting off all hope Of breathing again Us I've sat in this same wait...trying to brace for the fall. Excellent write, Ron. One of your best, I believe. |

Duncan: Thank you sir for your kind words... such waits are not an easy thing, but time tells all and it is never still. |

Ron I felt this so vividly because I understand this effort to breathe through someone else's intention...Very well done, my friend. |

Parachutes are made up of silk so you can jump safely out of the bedroom window |

Martie: thanks for your words... yes it is hard to breathe at times through anothers intentions. Loper.... I can jump, but I don't know if the chute would open to break my fall in time to keep me from breaking something... thanks to both of you.. the words are appreciated greatly |

you are trying still to see, to breath in the other, it is much sadder when the silk turns burlap and there is no desire to find out what is on the other side...there is in this write a sadness, but there is still a hope, that lays deep, that things will be different....... great poem *shakes her head in amazement* |

(sigh) WOW!!! This indeed shines with loves mysteries, sweet friend, silk is indeed stronger than steel in some way for silk can always hide such complexity in a lovers heart and only when it is sheer can we see love through ones eyes! (big hugggssssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |
