Most Wondrous Light

The universe shines crystal lights upon a lustful soul
Oh how we look to starry nights to dream that splendid goal
The stars are strew in heaven’s space in infinite display
We chose just one to cast afar our wishes of the day

The marbled moon glows softly on the earth with magic light
And casts a lustrous blanket on the landscape of the night
It fills the heart with wonderment,the eye with beckoned lure
And the mystic sea reflects the silvery light from lover’s shore

The sun shines light and warmth and life across the spinning earth
From all of life we come to know its own intrinsic worth
But the greatest light to radiate from places far above
Is the gift that God bestows a child of Mothers beauteous love

A Mother’s love’s eternal as the great celestial sea
But there is no other light to touch your heart as tenderly

I voted you Mother of the Year, (see your poem on Mothers') and I meant it. By the way, Kamla asked me to give you a hug and a kiss from her, and said, "you are still like a Mother to her" to make sure I wished you Happy Mother's Day Liz.

Lovely, just lovely.

We should spend less time worrying about when our life is going to end and more on when it's going to start!
