Guitar Man You walk those days easy when it says “bookmark me”, you lady them safe between the leaves that diary your soul soft sun never loses that tinge of warm, nor does blue strike the sky, but folds as cherished eider to down all sound such was the day, so was her age, new and fresh, and she rippled through awkward on her way to woman’s grace she stood beneath, by, with the pine, half-hiding from that boy in brown and green and looking like love bent over his guitar, thumbing, strumming, crying his heart on strung out sound, opting to polish his spit to shine, he played for that tinge of warm, struck that sky blue into folds as cherished eider, downing all sound to her ears alone, it skipped across placid green to amble in her ears, and felt like love if her presence presented him with reasons to strum she never knew for he never stopped looking like love but when she walks these days easy when it says “bookmark me”, she ladies them open, peers between the leaves that diaried her soul, and wonders of the Guitar Man |

KJ...Yep, I do remember those days of 1966. Graduation, becoming a man...well, almost.. And I do very much remember the sounds on the radio playing that tune....many many times.... This was fantastic, loved it! |

Sunshine - do I remember?!! Well, let me tell ya....1966 was my favourite year. I was sweet sixteen, the summer days were lazy and long....and I thought it would last forever. Maybe I just "wished" it would last forever. Thankyou for this - it is library bound. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

(big hugggssssssss) Sadly, I was born in 1983 so I never got to live any part of the sixties, though I do research of it a lot and I must say I love and am fascinated with that era and somehow I feel I always get nostalgia and that's ironic because I never lived then! (sigh) I just love all kinds of music and am learning to play acoustic guitar also and I just love walking around in the Boulder mall and in Hispanic supermarkets where the hippies play guitar and I love to watch and listen! (smiles) This is excellent, sweet friend, the music and the spirit of the sixties still plays in your heart now, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

1965 - Todd was born and Neil, ("The" Guitar Man), held him as he was baptized and became his Godfather. Now what better memory than that could I possibly have? Your poem brought back the good part of the 60's that I did bookmark and still do actually. Loved this. We should spend less time worrying about when our life is going to end and more on when it's going to start! |

A remeberance made very fine by use of unsual verb forms I very much like the verbs here takes the piece to a different level while nostalgic, it is crisp in those very refreshing verbs Well done indeed My thanks |
