I will restore the years the locusts ate.
Joel 2:25

Like a shoe that doesn't fit
A metre out of rhyme
I often wonder if I'm it -
That person out of time

All I have is worn out dress
And shoes of old to keep
Look in the mirror - see a mess
And fill my life with sleep

My precious gifts are tattered, bare
My life is lived on hold
When I look I'm seldom there
And thoughts are grey and cold

Once in sunshine of my life
I knew what is was to give
But days grow older, nothing blithe
Before mine eyes does live

Old fashioned - I cannot move on
Cannot forsake the past
And I find I don't belong
That's something I can't mask

"Just for today" is what they say
So I hold and breathe
Waiting for the promised day
When, I my time, retrieve

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

(big hugggssssss) Oh Kethry, you are never alone, I used to feel this way all the time myself, I thought "just for today, I will weep a while longer then I will try and get back to basics" but I always struggled to keep my word until I found the strength to trust in Him! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, my heart goes out to you and wishes you the greatest hope, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kethry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Keth darling sister of my heart and weaver of stars incandescent dreams WOW this is utterly utterly delightful you’ve written an absolute diamond here. The flow of thought in this is wonderful and the rhyme absolutely divine. I love the thought of you coming around again, as long as you always remember to hold on to me, whenever or wherever you are.

You know I adore this too don’t you, my sweetest sister, and do I forgive you for always outshining me? What do you think? Mmmm of course I do, how could I not

Truly excellent writing, I love it utterly utterly utterly.

I wub you

I understand the feeling of being out of step... there's a powerful sadness in your wonderful words. But this is your time, Kethry... your time to write for those of us who need to read... I wouldn't have missed your wisdom and perspective for the world. *S*

Kethry,
This is beautiful. But you knew that. And sad. And wistful. I love the way your mind works-and the way you show it to us.

You can imagine my surprise when I opened a book today at lunch... and found that same verse from Joel on the dedication page. *S* I only hope the book turns out to be as good as your poem. *S*

Keth darling heart sister and hanger of the moon OH YES!! This is exceptional writing, utterly utterly brilliant. I sought this out because it is such a wonderfully well constructed piece of fine art. The flow within this simply screams quality. You are so multi talented and darling heart this show cases your talent as only one of your sparkling gems really can

Each and every stroke of your pen proclaims your talent out loud

Wonderful writing absolutely wonderful

Keth...

I have watched your poetry since October of
last year or thereabouts....and I have to
say ONE thing,  which I would bet a paycheck
on...

Your poetry has done nothing but excel
steadily over the months....

Keep going girl,  you are writing very
beautifully...
