In thought I now do ponder of this person deep within Who sits in wonder of this life and places he has been Who questions many outcomes and the purpose of each tear Who deliberates and contemplates to make decisions clear The little voice that speaks to me, even now here as I write My mind, my conscience, all I am, my weakness and my fight To whom I speak to quietly or question without thought My inner faith, my core of being, who without I’m naught He speaks to me as lord above, as mentor and a friend He gives me strength and endless hope that never seems to end He’s my entity of hidden life, my caller of each day Who brings me sadness, tears of joy and hope when I am grey |

Rick, This was so deeply moving, I liked it a lot. Are you sure the voice inside is not madness? *lol* Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Kethry, thanks for the reply, It could be madness I speak of, but I feel that without our inner selves we would be only drones in a body, without that sparkle in our eyes, the smile and compassion. Nice to hear from you. Sincerely Rick |

Rick~ It is a beautiful thing to know oneself....I am still on that journey of discovery. I like your last reply "without our inner selves we would be only drones in a body, without that sparkle in our eyes, the smile and compassion." Very true, very profound. Lovely! ~Krista Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself. |
