I found a dove today among the apple blossoms sitting on a nest and observing the world through a curtain of white I wondered what brought the bird to this place surrounded by concrete and steel rather than by field and stream which was surely a better place for her to raise her young and live with others like her but perhaps, her being here was meant to be to be here right now to be found at this time reminding herself of where she'd like to be while she's here so, I watched with her and found that life looks different when you're looking through apple blossoms ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

but perhaps, her being here was meant to be to be here right now to be found at this time Sven - Yes, everything happens for a reason I am sure. This brought a gentle sigh to my heart. Thankyou for this. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

Sven, I relate well to this....for the past four months, we have had 3 families of Dove born outside our dining room window... Unwavering devotion to the eggs, to the young as they grew prior to flying free... I too appreciated that sight...though I did not have the splendor of apple blossoms... Very beautiful poem, kind sir.... |

(smiles) Ooohhhhhh...I love this, sweet friend, your gorgeous words always make me smile and bring enchantment to these pages! (big hugggsssss) I always find the most beautiful things to come through the heart of Mother Nature, and this piece shines with it's supernatural beauty! We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is fabulous! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sven, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Sven, at least she knows where she'd like to be, some don't. How wonderful that you can put yourself in her place, in her eyes, in her heart...where life looks different. A kind one you are, Sven. [This message has been edited by passing shadows (05-02-2002 05:51 PM).] |
