If you will bear this moments' passing storm, that we might see the sun reclaim the sky. These clouds we'll find illusion in a way, that we shouldn't let between us, you and I. Have we not seen the aftermath before, when calm has set the world back to rights? And "weather"( should we doubt this anymore?) is not a subject to be taken light. If you will bear this storm, though sore it tests the limits of your patience and resolve. Then I, my friends, have something to confess, There's no need to, past this point, we've evolved. Let these words stand in witness, I will bear, the burden of a fool out in the rain, if that is what it takes to make you laugh, and see your smiles part the clouds again. We'll "weather" many storms before we're done (as true to form) I can't resist a pun! |
