Disturbed moths flutter to reveal eye spots winged prey recoils at thoughts of its onslaught; mammalian eyes take us to deserted mountain tops where the Incan Empire was thought to have stopped Mothed wings flutter then settle on ruined fields circular spots on hindwings keeps prey off keel ghost town atop terraced fields, slowly shifts natural crust movements leaves archeologists miffed. The robin has his valour and a deadly touch the spotted eye moth may blink once too much; years later the ghost town is threatened by modern pollution the coming of tourists looking for quick holiday solutions. The abandoned town tucked away in the Incan hills that carried a sun temple for the humble to fill, now faces a destiny similar to our spotted moth that flutters, startles attackers until it is caught. (sigh) Hmmmmmmmmmm, I am not sure if this is correct, but I am leaning between two cities here, Lima and Vilcabamba. Is it one of these? (big hugggssssss) I just love it when you make these clever game shows out of your wonderful poetry, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |
