Do your feet walk pathway along will you listen to wing bird song For feet were made to point ahead not fixed sideways where you stand instead The paths not trod while standing still to walk along it takes your will Even if in wheelchair bound you roll along to cover the ground Too easy to sit and say no more and look at the window instead of the door Like a babe, first steps are hard but balance is given if you leave the yard Door to yard and then the path if balance is gone, then pick up a lath It matters not if you seek help as long as you move without a yelp For beauty is not seen if you stay in a box even through the times you stumble on rocks Let your feet carry away and far away from the times you stayed in a jar Open your soul to all that can be look away as far as you can see Stand no censure of it can’t be done the path is there and can be won |

  (smiles) Yes, yes, we must keep head over heels and continue to walk on, for while we are all entitled to looking deep into our hearts and contemplate to silence, it does no good to stay in the shell forever, for its embracing the world that will cleanse us of our woes! now...at last I read you again, my Gentle friend! I love the message of your poem. I decided a long time ago, that the sometimes the only thing you can do is just get on with it...standing still tends to bore the hell out of me!  So...I leave you with hugs and kisses m'LO, as I stare down at my own feet, I realize I am in dire need of a pedicure...shaking my head here, LAVENDAR nail polish--WHATEVER POSSESSED ME? This makes me think of the time that I stood in a stream of water...the rocks hurt my bare feet, but the water...the water felt so good I would do it again...  and I did...sometimes we have to accept the pain to feel the good... thank you for the stick... |

I could say my feet are surely standing sideways these days. I'm looking down paths and my heart is trying to decide on the easy one for someone else's sake instead of mine. Okay..ramble..
