Keen eyes see the billowing elephants marching. In one swift breeze, the white-powdered mold takes new shape - forming a face. (c) Kdw, 2000-2002 |

Okay Kim, Maybe I'm too drugged after surgery...I don't get it! Help me out here. It's never too late to have a good childhood! Woohoo! |

My take is that you are talking about the changing formations in the clouds, and how we interpret them in our minds eye. Interesting~ |

interesting - my take is that of a sculptor with an image in [her] mind as hands hit the plaster to form the visage of an elephant. either way, good grouping. |

I'm having fun reading each of your interpretations and find them quite interesting Blues - You "see" it. It is clouds as they move and take interesting shapes.. I always found it fun (as a child - alright, alright even now..) to find a image within them. Thanks for reading! |

Geez.......had to go 4 pages down to find this. I love the imagery in this piece. Reminds me of my childhood when I could see anything my mind could imagine in a cloud formation. Another thing....there are elements in this poem that could be incorporated into a great haiku. |

Jonas - Thank you for finding this, reading it - and pointing out the possibility to "play" with the lines and words a bit and turn it into a haiku. :0) I think I can, I think I can, I think I can... |

Calling clouds white-powdered mold, huh? No wonder I've been sneezing. [This message has been edited by bsquirrel (05-02-2002 03:44 PM).] |

FYI - i wasn't suggesting that the other interpretations were wrong (which apparently they weren't!) just that one can gather more from it. Chris |
