I'm trying to install At&T software, as my server. I had problem when it reached the configuring stage. It just kept configuring. Tech said it might have been the CD was bad. They said I had the requirements to install it, but this is what I'm wondering about. This is what I need: quote: I know I have the rest of the requirements, and I've checked my puter. They had me check as well, and he "thought" it was ok, but not sure. Here's what it shows that I have: quote: Does anyone have an idea about the Cyrix M thing? Thanks. |

The CD is brand new. Actually they even sent me another one. This is in set up....and after I've done all the other things I should, it starts to configure. Well, it's like the ever-ready bunny, it keeps going and going and going. Never stops configuring. Today, I let it go and just do it's thing, 1 hour later, it was still configuring. ??????? Could I have a conflict with say AOL? or something? or do you think it's them?? why is this junk so hard. LOL Why do you think it won't ever stop configuring? |

That's a good question!! I don't know. I go through the registration process and then it configures. I would assume that's what it's configuring, the set up stuff, to set up an account for me. |

Can you try to load that on a different computer and see if it finishes? Just wanna make sure it isn't a bad burn. "So long as men can breathe or eyes can see, |

I don't know if I can do that.... It's a key coded CD thing, and I'm only allowed one computer with it. Grrrr... I'll have to call these guys back again. They should know what it's configuring, and why it won't. |

Hey, I don't think its a CD problem sounds more like computer. I am not sure if it will help but goto start, then settings, the control panel, then add/remove prog. then look for AT&T remove it. Now that its all done goto start, programs, accessories, system tools, and click disk defragmenter and defrage C: assming its your harddrive. Then run a virus check assuming you have a virus checker. Then try to reinstall AT&T. Hope it works -- Linc "Blood Moon" |
