We're looking into buying a CDR or CDR/RW in the next few months and I was wondering about any recommendations ya'll could offer. I checked over deVine's previous thread on this topic, but..well...we know how technology is and how fast that bugger moves. I stopped by C-Net for some hardware reviews and have been leaning towards a TDK VeloCD 24x10x40 IDE, but we still have a while before we can afford anything (food and bills always seem to come first for some reason...) Any thoughts/comments would be greatly appreciated. BTW, the new system I built (see prior threads) is working like a charm. I had to swap the Audigy with the Live 5.1 in the other comp...had too many probs. Audigy likes it there and the Live likes it here. Go fig. But, everything else is copasetic and extremely fast.
