My kids got me TiVo for Christmas and installed a router to handle it.  Since that time, after a few hours, I can't get online and have to reboot the computer to reconnect to the internet.  

My son thinks the TiVo is somehow hijacking my IP address.  Any suggestions for a computer illiterate?
