Actually my catchy title is decietful...It was just to get your attention. . . I haven't even gotten to the counters of the FIRST kind! My question. I am building a site using Dreamweaver/Fireworks 4 for the Mac. It's coming along pretty well actually. I'm just about to finish the template which I will use on ever page. The content will be much easier. But I want to put a visitor counter on my homepage. What is the best counter, where do I find it. Does it cost money monthly? Is it cross platform? (will it work with my Mac website...since HTML is cross platform I don't see why not) And if not where can I get a counter for Mac websites. In short... Alas! I know nothing of these counters. I am waiting for a close in counter of the first kind. Please make first contact. Stephen. |

Sitemeter definitely!!! It's Free. There are instructions for inserting the counter with Dreamweaver as well as other programs. And is cross-browser compliant. (though it may not be able to count some of the older browsers... but a very minor portion of those in use) Chris [This message has been edited by Christopher (edited 04-15-2001).] |
