~ By Sue ~ To mend a broken heart It seems to take too long Heartaches of yesterday Just seem to linger on It's been sixty-two days Since I left him back there Time is moving too slow I wish I did not care I deal with these feelings And the memories that are there Of how it use to be And how much we had shared Sometimes I feel the pain He so graciously gave And I wonder why It was me who had to pay 2-27-03 |

Sue - dear lady, don't count the days in sadness, rather count them as your "getting stronger" days. Better yet.....don't count them at all. Life is too short to begin with. I can't promise you that you will ever "get over" all of this. But at some point the hurt recedes and you begin to count your blessings that a life with someone who doesn't know how to love you, is over. hugss M |
