these days, of scattered roses, sprinkled in eyes, when the sun blinds as it rises, its presence overriding any ominous clouds, when i could just jump in between the deep greys, weave myself into a spell of love, paint my own pretty sky, illusions of romance inked, if only for a moment upon heart, soul and mind, these days, before the magic vanishes, covered up in reality's clouds, before i must see all above and below as is- quite majestic, but without the spins i give - of circus clowns, trees dancing beneath scattered silvery stars, these days, before the call of home to comittment's hold, when i can walk the cakewalk, sashay down the avenue of moon beams, ballet lightly in step, drift away in a pirouette's turn, these days, when whirlwind highs erase any lows, suddenly swept away by surprise, not knowing what hit me, when, how or why, these days, to take as gift, and not ask why, faith that beneath this scarred heart, that dwells in earth's prison, i can still most days, soar up high, the silly dreaming girl, that i was once born [This message has been edited by inkedgoddess (02-26-2003 04:21 PM).] |

You captured these days in all their splendor as well as the ones that fall in between. Love your flair Michele~ |

A warm blend of dreams and fantasy, blanketing reality. Sounds like a good spot to spend a little time. |

"when i can walk the cakewalk, sashay down the avenue of moon beams, ballet lightly in step, drift away in a pirouette's turn," I enjoyed the lightness and carefree attitude of this moment. carpe diem |

these days, when whirlwind highs erase any lows, suddenly swept away by surprise, not knowing what hit me, when, how or why, I like these times, when the highs make you forget the lows. Nice write. KJ Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |

(sigh) Yes, always nurture the spirit of the girl in your heart as you will always shine with her love! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is touching, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michele, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

This was well thought out Michele and one of the best works in your growing repetoire. I read it and reread it several times to get the unlying meaning. Terrific..... |

inkedgoddess - I would vote for this but I don't see the book window to vote. I believe that yours should be in it... BC |
