So Far, So Near So vast the stage where stars and moons perform Against a spatial curtain twinkling bright Bathed soft in solar beams of opal white Their costumes are God’s sequins that adorn The infinite abysses that were born Before the face of man was touched by light The heav’nly bodies distant in the night Invisible at early break of morn Elusive is the twinkling of a star We cannot grasp it’s splendor with the eye Yet seek the closeness of a friend within Embracing it with wishes from afar The lazy moon sung in a lullaby The little stars strummed in our dearest hymn Elizabeth Santos 2/25/03 |

Good morning, Lizzy... I can't believe you can do this so well so bright and early in the AM... I think I'll take some lessons from you... meet you for a cup of coffee.... Beat you to the kitchen... |
