One cold shiver down my spine And I realize how fragile we are How insignificant and thin we are How passionate we can be about a mere being a mere object a time in space or a scene. What a waste of energy that is. Thinking about bliss Wishing for betterment and enjoyment What a waste of timeā¦ One decision from a man One idea and one hate Can bring down a holy place Can bring down an institution Can destroy lives and life styles. Where is it that we are going. What is it that we want What do we work for And for what? Will he take it away Our security our safe blanket Will things be the same as before Before and after a horrible war? |

Good write, from the heart.I don't think your voice is insignificent as long as you voice it,it can matter.I also think no matter who we see as the source of our fear it's us that decides whether or not to empower them.Enjoyed your write. Live like it's your last day... |

Thank you all for your comments. I wrote this right after reading our resources for safe keeping our families during and after a terrorist attack. After realizing that we dont have many options i felt a bit vulnerable. ![]() |
