Each passing day seems to get longer but with each passing day the journey gets shorter. I see the writing upon the wall. Even as I stand in a darkened hall. The time of the bloom is almost over the day is drawing closer as to when Even though nurtured and cared for, the rose shall wilt away. As winter ends and the warmth begins, even ice melts and dissipates into nothingness turning from something familiar to a soon forgotten memory. In the swiftness of the passage of time. Things that were shall be nevermore. So should you awaken to find me gone, Feel no sorrow, for it is not the end of the morrow It is just evolution through the passage of… time March 2003 |

And this too shall pass...like everything that was before. Time, indeed, can be friend or foe depending on the circumstances. Thank you for your beautiful verse. |
