                  You cannot break me
                   none of your marches
                   not even the screams
                   of dying children
                   can make me falter
for you feed me every day
and a every day a new brick is added
and the world comes alittle closer
                   to becoming completely shrouded
                   in my shade
Once I was a way of life
I kept things "the way they should be"
                   and should have stayed
I took ignorrance and your hidden desires
                   and used time
                   till it cultivated into hate
                   and rage
                   against those you though
                   who wouldn't or couldn't
                   fight back
It went well for a time
then they came and pierced your hearts
                   and shook your apathy
now you try to destroy me
                   with love and equality
                   I laugh in your face
                   you have not changed
                   for why am still here
                   and growing daily
it may be harder to see
                   the hate in your eyes
                   but it's there
                   I know
For I am in your heart and soul
For once you sleep with hate
                   you becoming its slave
                   for all eternity
                   I could destroy you now
                   but its fun watching you
                   destroy each other
                   So good night America
                   Pleasant dreams
                   For your tommorow
                   will never come.

Glad to see you around here again. What brought you back?

I enjoyed this. You are powerful.

You could hurt me with your bare hands. You could hurt me using the sharp edge of what you say. JEWEL

Hi Brad, it's nice to see you again. Feels like it's been a long time since you graced these blue pages.

I thought this was a fascinating piece ...
