You are Cherished But you knew that Lingering in the back Never saying your mind As you read these words We were almost children Me too old for my years You too beautiful to see I could never have touched you Times had changed Yet changed they had not You were still beautiful And I was still unworthy And between them both We somehow met along the way Only to have it ruined By my ignorance and pride So for now I content myself To send you a pleasant dream When the morning cries and you don't know why... |

this one saddens me - can relate to that long ago innocence - lost - regret - for other times - but here - you seem so sad - like you are saying sorry for something that maybe just wasnt meant to be ( I have no idea where this is coming from is what I feel) another amazing write xxoo |

Sometimes it's the case, more often than not, dreams come true. It's being ready for what dreams may come that is the challenge, and certainly the rub. A pleasant dream is a gift. Your words are beautiful, and touched me. Thank you, Diane |

Thank you, Ringo... for taking me back to a moment when "Cherish" played... and I was young. |
