like a kangaroo
the heart beats
in exaggerated leaps
boundlessly free

like a butterfly
fluttering,
bending the skies
putting white clouds to shame
by adding sparkles to solar dust
and swimming in the mist
of the early morning air

like a firefly
blinking furiously
yet without rage
lighting mellow lamps
in the soul of the night

like a lesson of love
taught by mother to child
cradled in a care-filled pouch
closest to the heart

like a kangaroo

Excellently expressed , nothing more true blue , than the boundless energy of a hopping kangaroo

the first stanza really hooked me. the rest was pleasant, but i kept re-reading the first stanza to savor it.

like a kangaroo - a metaphor bursting with life and energy!

Hey! brother Sudhir's got a new pic with no moustache!

fantastic write as usual.

It's amazing I won. I was running against peace, prosperity, & incumbency.
