Trinkets and Knick-Knacks
4-7-2003

You have stars in your eyes
Enough of them to light up the whole night sky
You say the kindest words she could
Take those words and write a poem
Your touch light as a feather
nothing else matters when your near.

You give enough laughter
It echoes over the hills
Your smile handsome and bright
It lights up the day sends the rain clouds away
You keep the dreams she has wished
And made them come true.

You have music that comes from inside
A beautiful love song that makes her cry
With happiness and pure delight
You hold her weak body up against yours
When things have gone wrong you comfort and support
Your yellow stemmed rose gives the symbol of love so true
She knows she married the man of her dreams.

Your open heart spills love all
over sweeping her off her feet leaving the
memories wonder in her head all day,
You leave no secrets hide for
You always tell the truth she trusts you with all she has
Your blue ocean eyes drowned her as she looks in to them.
